Zoho CRM - Company House Verification

Company House Verification allows users to automatically check companies against the company house database all within Zoho CRM and automatically map the company to a record in the leads or accounts module. Through the click of one button you can search the company name, match it to the corresponding account, instantly see all important information about the company (Company Number, Date of Creation, Company Status, Addres and active officers) and map the data immediately to your CRM.

Key Features:

  • Keyword Search - search the company house database with the name given in the company name field and lists all matching companies.
  • Custom Field Mapping - once the data is collected it auto-maps to the matching fields for easy data submission, it also allows for manual data mapping so that the data can go to your desired fields.
  • Easily Accessed - the extension can be accessed in the Enquiries/Leads & Accounts/Companies modules on both create/edit and details view.

Using the Extension:

  • For Leads, the Company Name is pulled from the Company field
  • For Accounts, the Company Name is pulled from the Account Name field On Create/Edit:
  • Click on the Company Check button in the top right.

On View:

  • Click on the dropdown button > Company Check.
  • When the extension pops up you will see the company name auto-populated and a search button next to it.
  • Click on the search button and then open the search result dropdown and you should see a list of matching companies.

  • Select the relevant Company from the list and the data will be displayed.
  • After verifying the data click the next button
  • This will display all active Officers in the company. Including Name, Role, Date of Birth, Nationality, Country of Residence & Appointment Date
  • If you want to merge over the Officers as well click the toggle at the bottom and click next.

 

TO NOTE: On Create Update Officers will not work

  • Next customize the field mapping to your desired fields or leave the fields with the auto-mapped fields and once you are happy click submit
  • All fields will now be updated and (if selected) Company Operators will be listed in the Company Operator sub-list.

 

TO NOTE: If you have submitted on details view you will need to refresh to see the populated data.
