The UK Address Lookup for Zoho CRM extension lets your team find a full UK address from a postcode without leaving Zoho CRM. Enter a postcode, pick the right address from the list and the extension fills the address fields for you. This cuts typing time and keeps addresses accurate across Leads, Contacts, Accounts and Deals.

What you need before you start

  • Admin access to Zoho CRM to install and configure the extension.
  • A getAddress.io API key. The extension uses this service to look up UK addresses. You can buy a plan at getaddress.io.

Step 1: Add your API key in Zoho CRM

After installing the extension, save your getAddress.io key so the lookup can connect:

  1. In Zoho CRM, go to Setup.
  2. Under Developer Hub, open Variables.
  3. Find the extension’s authorisation key variable and paste your API key into the Value field.
  4. Save your changes.

Step 2: Find the Postcode Lookup button

Once installed, a Postcode Lookup button appears in the Leads, Contacts, Accounts and Deals modules in three places:

  • Create view, when adding a new record
  • Edit view, when updating a record
  • Record details view, when viewing a saved record

Step 3: Look up and save an address

  1. Open the lead, contact, account or deal, or start creating a new one.
  2. Click Postcode Lookup. A search window opens.
  3. Enter the postcode and click search. A list of matching addresses appears.
  4. To narrow the list, type a house number or street name in the extra search field.
  5. Click the correct address, then click Update. The address fields on the record are filled in automatically.

Tips for accurate addresses

  • Enter the full postcode, including the space, for the most reliable results.
  • Use the lookup when a record is created, so addresses are right from the start.
  • Keep an eye on your getAddress.io usage so lookups are not interrupted when your plan limit is reached.
