Odoo does not file SCPN notifications, but it keeps the batch and distribution records your Responsible Person relies on.
Requires a UK Responsible Person, a safety assessment and Product Information File, and on-pack batch number and durability marking for cosmetics sold in GB.
Lot tracking links each on-pack batch code to its inputs and customers, and expiration dates manage durability; Odoo does not replace the safety assessor or PIF.
The Responsible Person must notify each cosmetic product via the Submit Cosmetic Product Notifications service before it is placed on the GB market.
The SCPN reference can be stored on the product record so notified status is visible to sales and operations; the notification itself is made on the government service.
Cosmetics must be made under GMP; compliance is presumed when following the relevant designated standard, ISO 22716.
Quality control points, quality alerts and full lot genealogy provide batch records that support GMP audits.

Can Odoo track batch numbers and expiry dates?
Yes. Odoo Inventory tracks lots and calculates expiry, best before, removal and alert dates for each batch. The traceability report then shows where a batch came from and which customers received it.
Does Odoo pick stock by expiry date?
Yes. The FEFO (first expired, first out) removal strategy picks the lot with the earliest expiry first, which cuts write-offs and short-dated deliveries to retailers.
We use a contract manufacturer. Does Odoo still fit?
Yes. Odoo's subcontracting feature tracks packaging and raw materials you supply to the manufacturer and receives finished goods with their batch, so you see true stock and cost.
Does Odoo handle SCPN notifications?
No. SCPN notifications are made by your Responsible Person on the government service. Odoo keeps the batch, expiry and quality records behind each product so you can answer questions from Trading Standards or retailers quickly.
Does Odoo integrate with Shopify and Amazon?
Odoo has a native Amazon Connector supporting Amazon.co.uk. Recent Odoo versions include a Shopify Connector, and established third-party connectors are also available, or brands move their store to Odoo eCommerce so stock and orders sit in one system.
Can Odoo run subscriptions and influencer codes?
Yes. The Subscriptions app handles recurring orders with automated invoicing and renewals, and Promotions, Loyalty and Gift Card covers discount codes, loyalty cards and gift cards.
How much does Odoo cost in the UK?
Odoo licences are priced per user. At October 2026, Odoo's UK list prices on annual billing are £22 per user per month for Standard and £41 for Custom (which adds Odoo.sh or on-premise hosting, Studio and multi-company), with a first-year discount to £18 and £32. One App Free covers a single app with unlimited users. Implementation is scoped separately after a free process review, so you know the full cost before you commit.
