It is Odoo's Sales, Inventory, Manufacturing, Purchase, eCommerce and Accounting apps configured for decorated garments and products. The bigger picture
A growing market where compliance and service decide who wins.
Buyers expect fast turnaround, accurate sizing and evidence that PPE is the real thing.
Sound familiar?
The problems we hear from workwear and merch suppliers.
Every order multiplies by sizes, colours, logos and positions. Spreadsheets cannot keep up.
Size and colour chaos
One polo in 8 sizes and 12 colours is 96 SKUs, and spreadsheets or Sage stock lists cannot show what is really available by size before you promise a uniform rollout.
Decoration lost between order and floor
Logo position, thread colours and print method live in emails, so embroidery and print jobs run from the wrong file or the wrong garment.
Artwork approval bottlenecks
Customers approve proofs by email, versions multiply, and production starts on an unsigned proof that later becomes a costly remake.
Uniform schemes run on spreadsheets
Each corporate customer has its own garments, prices, logos and allowances, so staff rebuild orders by hand and errors slip through.
PPE compliance paperwork
Importers and distributors must hold conformity evidence, but declarations and certificates are scattered across shared drives and supplier emails.
Dropship and blank-stock blind spots
Blanks arrive from wholesalers, some lines ship direct from suppliers, and nobody can see margin per order once decoration and carriage are added.
The cost hides in re-keyed orders, chased approvals and stock that is never quite right.
Follow one order
Follow one uniform order from quote to reorder.
Pick a stage and switch between how it runs today and how it runs in Odoo.
Quote and artwork
Quote built in Excel, logo files emailed back and forth, no record of which proof was approved.
Pick a stage, or switch between Today and With Odoo.
2-minute readiness check
Is your business outgrowing its systems?
Five quick questions for an honest view of whether Odoo would pay back.
- Are size and colour quantities typed line by line into orders?
- Do artwork approvals live in email threads?
- Do you lose track of what is at the embroiderer or printer?
- Do corporate customers email or phone for routine uniform reorders?
- Would proving PPE conformity for a batch take more than an hour?
One system
One system from quote to reorder.
Stop copying orders between email, spreadsheets, the decoration room and your accounts.
Odoo, set up for workwear and merchandise suppliers
Quote, approve, decorate, ship, invoice and reorder from one database.
The solution
Everything a decorated-products business needs.
Standard Odoo apps, configured by Thoughtlogik for variant-heavy, made-to-order work.
Variants by size, colour and fit
One product template generates every size and colour combination with its own stock, barcode and price extra.
Grid order entry
Enter a full size and colour run in one matrix instead of line by line.
Customer and volume pricing
Each uniform scheme or reseller gets its own contract prices and volume breaks automatically.
Online quote approval
Customers sign off the quote and attached proof online, giving a clear record before production starts.
BoMs for decorated variants
One BoM can cover all sizes, with components such as thread, transfers or patches applied only to the relevant variants.
Decoration as tracked jobs
Schedule jobs on each machine and let operators start, pause and finish work orders on a tablet.
Dropshipping
Lines your supplier ships direct create a linked purchase order automatically, so margin and delivery status stay on one order.
Lot and serial tracking
Trace each PPE batch or serial from supplier receipt to the customer it shipped to.
Uniform scheme portals
Give corporate customers a sign-in portal to reorder their scheme garments at their own prices; multi-website can give large schemes their own branded shop.
Compliance
PPE compliance you can evidence.
Keep conformity documents, markings and batch records linked to what you sell.
Importers and distributors must check PPE carries the right conformity marking and English instructions, and importers must keep the declaration of conformity and technical documentation for 10 years.
Declarations and certificates can be attached to products and lots, and lot or serial tracking shows which customers received each batch if a recall is needed.
The government has extended recognition of CE marking indefinitely, so PPE can be placed on the GB market with either CE or UKCA marking if it meets the essential requirements.
Product records can hold the marking and certification details, and incoming quality checks can confirm markings before stock is put away.
Employers must provide necessary PPE free of charge to employees and limb (b) workers.
Not a supplier obligation, but customer-specific catalogues and order history help employer customers show what PPE was issued.
Integrations
Connected to your channels, carriers and suppliers.
Orders, tracking and payments flow into one system.

FAQs
Questions workwear and merch suppliers ask us
Straight answers to the questions workwear and merchandise suppliers ask us most. Something else on your mind? Ask a consultant.
Can Odoo handle size and colour variants for workwear?
Yes. Odoo creates variants from attributes such as size, colour and fit, each with its own stock, barcode and price extra. Sales staff can enter a whole size run in a single grid on the quotation.
How does Odoo manage embroidery and printing?
We set decoration up as a manufacturing step: a bill of materials combines the blank garment with thread, transfers or patches, and work orders run on embroidery or print work centres. If you use an external decorator, Odoo's subcontracting sends the blanks out and receives the decorated goods back.
Can our corporate customers order their own uniforms online?
Odoo eCommerce supports customer accounts and login-only B2B shops, with each customer's own pricelist applied. Larger schemes can have a dedicated branded shop using Odoo's multi-website feature.
Does Odoo help with PPE compliance?
Odoo does not certify products, but it helps you meet your duties. Declarations of conformity and certificates can be stored against products, and lot or serial tracking shows exactly which customers received a batch.
Can we dropship from our suppliers?
Yes. Odoo's dropship route creates a purchase order to your supplier when the sales order is confirmed, and the supplier ships straight to your customer while you keep sight of margin and delivery.
Can we move from Sage or spreadsheets without losing history?
Yes. We migrate customers, products and variants, open orders and opening balances, and our UK and India team runs data cleansing and testing so you go live with clean size and colour data.
How much does Odoo cost in the UK?
Odoo licences are priced per user. At October 2026, Odoo's UK list prices on annual billing are £22 per user per month for Standard and £41 for Custom (which adds Odoo.sh or on-premise hosting, Studio and multi-company), with a first-year discount to £18 and £32. One App Free covers a single app with unlimited users. Implementation is scoped separately after a free process review, so you know the full cost before you commit.
