Odoo is used worldwide, so its defaults are not UK defaults. We start from Odoo's UK localisation (the l10n_uk module), which provides a UK chart of accounts and VAT taxes, then adjust it to your accountant's structure and reporting needs.
For Making Tax Digital, Odoo Enterprise can submit VAT returns to HMRC from within the accounting app. We set up the connection, map tax codes to the right VAT return boxes, and walk your finance team through a trial return before you go live.
Banking is where many UK projects stall. We configure bank feeds and reconciliation rules, Bacs payment runs for suppliers, and Direct Debit collection for customers where your bank or payment provider supports it, so month end stops depending on spreadsheets.
