Launch and improve

Go-live, hypercare, adoption reviews and a backlog of improvements for the next phase.

Why CRM projects fail

Why CRM implementations fail, and how we prevent it

Most failed CRM projects do not fail because of the software. They fail because the system was configured around a wish list rather than how the team actually sells, because old data was moved across unchecked, or because users were given a login and a one-hour demo and left to it.

We prevent this with a few habits. Sales managers and front-line users join design workshops, not just senior sponsors. Every field has to earn its place. Data is cleaned and tested in trial migrations before go-live. Training is by role, using your own records and scenarios.

After launch we check adoption, not just uptime: are deals being updated, are activities logged, are the dashboards used in meetings? Where they are not, we fix the cause, whether that is a clumsy screen, a missing automation or a training gap.

Common causes of CRM failure

  • No agreed definition of success
  • Too many fields and mandatory steps for sales users
  • Dirty or duplicated data migrated as is
  • No executive who uses the dashboards
  • Training treated as a one-off event

UK and international

A CRM consultancy for the UK and beyond

We are based in Northampton, with an in-house delivery centre in Coimbatore, India. Delivery is remote-first with on-site workshops where needed, and the two locations give overlapping working hours with the UK, Europe, the US East Coast morning and Australia and New Zealand.

Local rules shape a CRM as much as sales process does: consent and data protection, tax on quotes, address formats and data centre location. We set these up for each market. Our Zoho partner USA page shows how this works for North American teams.

“Super knowledgeable team with great leadership. They delivered an enterprise-grade app in record time.”

FAQs

CRM implementation partner: common questions

What does a CRM implementation partner do?
A CRM implementation partner designs, configures and launches a CRM around your sales and service processes. That covers requirements, platform choice, configuration, data migration, integrations, testing, training and support. The aim is a system your team uses every day, not just a set of licences.
How long does a CRM implementation take?
It depends on the number of teams, integrations and how much data you migrate. A focused sales CRM is much quicker than a multi-department rollout with ERP links. We agree a timeline in the fixed-scope proposal after discovery, and often phase delivery so value arrives early.
How much does CRM implementation cost?
Cost depends on scope: users and teams, process complexity, data migration, integrations and training. We give a fixed-scope written proposal after a free scoping call, so the price is agreed before work starts. Licences are paid separately to the vendor; see our Zoho pricing and Odoo pricing guides for current figures.
Should we choose Zoho CRM or Odoo CRM?
Choose Zoho CRM if sales and service are the priority and you want a deep, flexible CRM, optionally extended with Zoho One. Choose Odoo CRM if you also need inventory, manufacturing and accounting in one system. As a partner of both, we recommend based on your requirements.
Do you implement Salesforce or HubSpot?
No. We specialise in Zoho CRM and Odoo CRM, which lets us go deep on both. If your requirements clearly point to Salesforce or HubSpot, we will say so. We also migrate businesses from Salesforce and HubSpot to Zoho or Odoo when cost or fit is the issue.
Can you migrate our data from spreadsheets or another CRM?
Yes. We migrate contacts, accounts, deals, activities and notes from spreadsheets, Salesforce, HubSpot, Dynamics and other systems. Data is cleaned and de-duplicated first, then trial migrations are checked by your team before the final cutover so nothing important is lost.
Do you work with businesses outside the UK?
Yes. We support clients in the USA, Canada, Ireland, Europe, Australia and New Zealand, delivering remotely from the UK and India with on-site workshops where needed. Our working hours overlap with European, US East Coast morning and Australian time zones.
