Signs your ERP or CRM implementation needs help

You do not need to wait for a failed go-live to ask for a second opinion. These are the warning signs we see most often.

01

Go-live keeps moving

Dates slip every month and nobody can say what done looks like.

02

Budget is running out

Change requests pile up and the original estimate is long gone.

03

Users work around the system

Spreadsheets and email are back because the system is slow or wrong.

04

Heavy, fragile customisation

Upgrades are blocked and small changes break other things.

05

Data cannot be trusted

Stock, balances or customer records do not reconcile after migration.

06

Partner has gone quiet

Tickets wait for days and the people who built it have moved on.

Why it happens

The root causes are rarely the software

Gartner has predicted that more than 70% of recently implemented ERP initiatives will not fully meet their original business case goals. In the Zoho and Odoo projects we are asked to review, the same causes come up again and again.

  • Scope agreed in a sales proposal, not a solution design
  • Old processes rebuilt in custom code instead of using standard features
  • Data migrated once, late, without reconciliation
  • No named business owner or decision log
  • Key users not involved until training
  • Testing done by the partner, not by the people who will use the system

Super knowledgeable team with great leadership. They delivered an enterprise-grade app in record time.

Our approach

Assess, stabilise, recover

A structured rescue that gives you facts first, then quick wins, then a plan you can hold us to.

Assess

We review configuration, custom modules, integrations, data quality and the original requirements, and interview key users.

Report

A plain-English findings report: what works, what is broken, what to keep, fix or remove, and the risks.

Stabilise

Fix the issues blocking daily work first, such as broken automations, failing syncs and data errors.

Re-plan

Agree a phased recovery plan with realistic dates, a clear scope and named owners on both sides.

Deliver

Complete the remaining phases with regular playbacks, proper user testing and training.

Support

Hypercare after go-live, then ongoing support and optimisation from a UK-based team.

Changing partner

Switching your Zoho or Odoo partner safely

Changing partner mid-project is common and does not have to be messy. This is what we will help you secure.

01

Access and ownership

Admin access, subscription ownership and partner-of-record changes, so your business owns its systems.

02

Code and configuration

Custom modules, scripts, Deluge functions, workflows and integration credentials, documented and version controlled.

03

Documentation

Requirements, solution design, data maps and open issues, rebuilt where they never existed.

04

Continuity

Critical support in place from day one of the handover, so nothing falls through the gap.

FAQ

Project rescue: common questions

Can a failed ERP implementation be saved?

In most cases, yes. Few projects need to start from scratch. An independent review usually shows that the platform is sound and the problems sit in scope, customisation, data or adoption, all of which can be fixed in phases.

How long does an ERP or CRM project review take?

A focused review of a Zoho or Odoo system typically takes one to three weeks, depending on the number of modules, customisations and integrations.

Can we change our Odoo or Zoho partner in the middle of a project?

Yes. You can change partner at any time. We help secure admin access, subscription ownership, custom code and documentation so the handover is safe and your support continues.

Should we switch to a different platform instead?

Sometimes that is the right call, but usually it is not. Switching platform restarts the cost and disruption. We will give you an honest view based on the review, including when a move is the better option.

Do you rescue projects on platforms other than Zoho and Odoo?

Our rescue service focuses on Zoho and Odoo, where we can fix and complete the work ourselves. For other platforms we can help you decide whether a move to Zoho or Odoo makes sense.
