The Smart Address Navigator and Contact Enhancer module makes Odoo contacts quicker to work with. It adds one-click copy buttons to phone, mobile, email and address fields, and a location button that opens the address on a map. Sales, service and delivery teams spend less time copying details between screens and more time with customers.

How to use it

  1. Open the Contacts app and select any contact.
  1. Fill in or check the address, phone, mobile and email details.
  2. Click the copy button next to any of these fields to copy its value to your clipboard.
  3. Click the location button next to the address to open it on a map.

How to install the module

  1. Add the module to your Odoo add-ons folder, or ask your Odoo administrator or hosting provider to do this.
  2. In Odoo, turn on developer mode (Settings > Developer Tools > Activate the developer mode).
  3. Go to Apps and click Update Apps List.
  4. Remove the default Apps filter from the search bar, search for the module name and click Activate.

If you use Odoo Online (SaaS), custom modules cannot be installed. They need Odoo.sh or an on-premise installation.

Which fields get a copy button?

The address, phone, mobile and email fields on a contact each get a copy button. The address field also has a location button.

What does the location button do?

It opens the contact’s address in a map, so you can check the location or plan a route without copying the address into another tool.

Does it work for customers and suppliers?

Yes. It works on any contact record in Odoo, including customers, suppliers and other partners.
