Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. View Email Metrics
  • Go to Email Marketing › Mailings.
  • Find the mailing you want to analyze in the list view.
  • Click the mailing name to open it.
  • At the top, you’ll see smart buttons with key metrics:
    • Opened Rate – % of emails opened.
    • Replied Rate – % of recipients who replied.
    • Clicked Rate (CTR) – % who clicked a link.
    • Received Rate – % successfully delivered.
    • Bounced Rate – % that failed to deliver.

Click any smart button to see the detailed list of recipients for that metric.

  1. Create Custom Metric Reports
  • Click the smart button for the metric you want to explore.
  • Use the filter icon (down arrow next to the search bar) to refine results.
  • Apply Filters (e.g., show only bounced emails).
  • Use Group By to organize data (e.g., group by Sent Period or Mailing List).
  • Combine multiple “Group By” options for deeper insights, such as grouping by date and responsible team member.

Example:
If 7% of emails bounced, group by Mailing List and filter by Created on ≥ 07/01/2024 to find new contacts with malformed email domains (like @yaoo.com).

Compare Campaigns with Mass Mailing Analysis

  • Go to Email Marketing › Reporting › Mass Mailing Analysis.
  • View the dashboard chart of your campaigns.
  • Change the measure (e.g., Opened, Clicked, Bounced) from the Measures menu.

Use this to compare campaigns—for example, see which subject line got a higher open rate.

  • Increase Clicks: Add clear calls-to-action and relevant links.
  • Improve Deliverability:
    • Keep mailing lists updated.
    • Use a “From” email that matches your domain.
