Headers and footer

Estimated reading: 2 minutes 224 views

The Odoo Website header and footer give every page of your site a consistent look and clear navigation. The header sits at the top and usually holds the logo, menu and search bar; the footer sits at the bottom with contact details, links and legal notices.

Customising the header

  1. Click Edit, then click on the header.
  2. In the Header section of the Customize tab, choose a Template, set the Background colour or gradient, and adjust Border, Round corners and Shadow as needed.
  3. Pick a Header Position: Regular, Hidden or Over The Content.
  4. Show or hide Elements such as the search bar, sign-in button, social links or logo.
  5. Click Save.

Customising the footer

Footers are edited the same way: click Edit, select the footer, then adjust its template, colours and content blocks in the Customize tab.
