Deliveries and invoices to different addresses

Businesses often bill and ship to different locations. Odoo Sales lets each customer contact hold several addresses, so invoices and deliveries can automatically go to the right place.

How to activate customer addresses

  1. Go to Accounting > Configuration > Settings.
  2. Scroll to Customer Invoices and tick Customer Addresses.
  3. Click Save.

How to add multiple addresses to a contact

  1. Go to Sales > Orders > Customers and clear any filters to see all customers.
  2. Open the customer’s contact form and click Edit.
  3. Under Contacts & Addresses, click Add.
  • In the Create Contact pop-up, choose an Address Type: Contact, Invoice Address, Delivery Address, Follow-up Address, or Other Address.
  • Fill in the address details, then click Save & Close, or Save & New to add several addresses in a row.

    • How addresses are used on quotations

    When a customer is selected on a quotation, the Invoice Address and Delivery Address fields fill in automatically from the addresses set on their contact form. To change either one, open the quotation, click Edit, and use the link next to the address field to pick a different existing address or create a new one.

    Which app controls the Customer Addresses setting?

    The Accounting app. Enable Customer Addresses under Configuration > Settings > Customer Invoices before using multiple addresses per contact.
