Vendor costs report

The vendor costs report in Odoo Purchase tracks how vendor pricing changes over time, helping identify the most expensive vendors and spot seasonal price changes.

Open the report

Go to Purchase > Reporting > Purchase to open the Purchase Analysis dashboard, then click the pivot icon to switch to pivot view.

Add filters and groups

1. Clear any existing filters in the search bar, then open the filter dropdown.
2. Under Filters, choose Requests for Quotation or Purchase Orders, and pick a date field (Order Date or Confirmation Date) with a time range.
3. Under Group By, select Vendor first, then optionally Product, Product Category, Status or Purchase Representative for more detail.
4. Once a date range is set, a Comparison option appears: choose Previous Period or Previous Year. Only one comparison can be used at a time.
