The Ship Later feature allows you to sell products immediately while deferring their delivery to a later date. Step-by-Step Instructions

 

1. Enable the Ship Later Option

  1. Go to Point of Sale → Configuration → Settings.
  2. Under the Inventory or Orders section, enable the Ship Later

2. Create a POS Order with Ship Later

  1. In POS, add products to the cart.
  2. Select Ship Later instead of delivering immediately.
  3. Confirm the order and payment.
  4. The order will be marked for later delivery in Sales Orders or Inventory → Delivery Orders.

3. Process the Delivery Later

  1. Go to Inventory → Operations → Delivery Orders.
  2. Find the related order marked as To Process.
  3. Reserve stock and validate delivery once products are ready.
  4. The system updates the order status after shipment.
