Introduction

Odoo’s Social Marketing app makes creating and managing social media content simple for businesses. You can create posts, schedule them, track engagement, and convert interactions into leads all from one central platform.

Whether you manage Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, or YouTube accounts, Social Marketing helps streamline your social media efforts and maximize your reach.

Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. Access the Social Posts Page
  • Go to Social Marketing › Posts.
  • You will see all posts created with Odoo.
  • Choose from four views to manage your posts: Kanban, Calendar, List, and Pivot (icons in the upper-right corner).
  • Use the left sidebar to filter by connected social accounts or posts for easier analysis.

Tip: Kanban view is the default and provides a visual overview of your posts.

  1. View Post Details
  • Click any post to open a pop-up window.
  • Review engagement metrics like likes, comments, and shares.
  • Leave a comment directly in the Write a comment… field and press Enter.
Pro Tip: Engaging with followers directly in Odoo saves time and keeps all interactions in one place.
  1. Create Leads from Comments
  • In the post pop-up, find the desired comment.

  • Each social media stream shows a link to Insights at the top of the stream.
