Introduction to Odoo Inventory Management

Odoo Inventory helps businesses manage warehouse operations, from receiving stock to shipping orders, with real-time data shared across the rest of Odoo. It suits small retailers and larger manufacturers alike, adapting to how many warehouses, locations and products a company runs.

How Odoo Inventory works

1. Install the Inventory app from the Odoo Apps dashboard.
2. Set up warehouses and their internal locations (such as aisles, shelves or bins) under Inventory app > Configuration > Warehouses.
3. Add products under Inventory app > Products > Products, choosing whether each is storable or a service, and organise them with categories.
