Odoo Planning is the app used to schedule employee and resource shifts, so managers can build a roster and share it with their team. It suits businesses that need to plan who works when, whether that is staff on a rota or shared equipment being booked out.

What Planning does

Shifts are assigned to resources, which can be employees or materials such as equipment, and each resource can be given one or more roles. Shifts can be planned manually in a Gantt style schedule, or assigned automatically with the Auto Plan feature, which takes roles, working hours, time off and contracts into account.
