Introduction

The Revenues Report in Odoo Events helps you track and analyze revenue generated from your events. With this report, you can gain insights into ticket sales, event performance, and overall profitability.

Whether you want to see total revenue, untaxed revenue, or the number of attendees, the Revenues Report provides a clear view of your event’s financial performance.

Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. Access the Revenues Report
  1. Open the Events app.
  2. Navigate to Reporting → Revenues.
  3. By default, the report appears as a line chart with stacked data.
  4. The default filters are:
    • Non-free tickets
    • Event Start Date: Current year
  1. To view data in a pivot table, click the Pivot icon in the top-right corner.
  1. Understand Measures

Measures allow you to customize the report for specific revenue insights:

  • Revenues – Total revenue generated from events.
  • Untaxed Revenues – Revenue without taxes.
  • Count – Total number of attendees who registered.

Note: In graph view, only one measure can be selected at a time. In pivot view, all measures are selected by default.

  1. Apply Filters

Filters help narrow down revenue data based on event criteria:

  1. Click the down arrow next to the search bar to open the filter menu.
  2. Options in the Filters column include:
    • Non-free tickets
    • Free tickets
    • Pending payment
    • Sold tickets
    • Registration Date (month, quarter, year)
    • Upcoming/Running events
    • Past events
    • Event Start Date / Event End Date
    • Published Events
    • Add Custom Filter

Note: Time-based filters (like Event Start Date) allow comparison options for easier year-over-year or month-over-month analysis.

  1. Group Data

Grouping lets you organize revenue data for better analysis:

  • Event Type – Revenue by event category.
  • Event – Revenue per individual event.
  • Product – Revenue per registration product.
  • Ticket – Revenue by ticket type.
  • Registration Status – Revenue by attendee status.
  • Sale Order Status – Revenue by order status.
