Introduction

Field technicians often need structured forms to record their work. Odoo Worksheets make it easy to guide service teams through their tasks, capture important details, and ensure consistent reporting.

With worksheets, you can:

  • Provide step-by-step instructions.

  • Add to-do lists, checkboxes, and blank fields for data entry.

  • Insert images, links, and files for reference.

  • Standardize reporting with custom worksheet templates.

This not only improves efficiency but also guarantees accuracy for repeated services.

Step-by-Step Instructions

1. Enable Worksheets in Field Service

  • Go to Field Service → Configuration → Settings.

  • Under Worksheets, enable the feature.

  • Click Save.

Warning: Worksheets are designed with Odoo Studio. Activating this feature installs the Studio app, which may affect your subscription plan.

2. Create a Worksheet Template

  • Navigate to Field Service → Configuration → Worksheet Templates.

  • Click New and give your template a name.

  • Save it, then click Design Template to open Studio.

Inside Studio:

  • Drag and drop fields from the left-hand column into your worksheet.

  • Rearrange fields by dragging them into the desired order.

  • Click any field to edit its properties.

When finished, click Close in the top-right corner to exit Studio.
