Introduction

The Dashboard in Zoho Contracts provides a centralized view of key performance indicators and metrics related to contract management. It helps administrators make quick, informed decisions and keeps all stakeholders updated.

 

Dashboards include interactive widgets that offer insights into contracts, approvals, obligations, and values – all tailored to your role in the organization.

Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. Accessing the Dashboard

Navigate to the Dashboard tab at the top of your screen.

You’ll see:

Left Panel: Contract management widgets

Right Panel: Monthly calendar with contract schedules and reminders

  1. Understanding Dashboard Widgets

Widgets summarize contract data visually or numerically. You can interact with widgets to explore data in depth.

 

Note: The widgets displayed may vary based on your user role.

 

List of Standard Widgets

 

Widget Name, Description, User Access

Contracts by Status, shows contracts in Draft, Approved, Negotiated, Signed, and Active states, All Users

 

Pending Contracts, Lists contracts pending approval, negotiation, signature, or renewal, All Users

 

To Approve, Displays your latest three pending approval requests, All Users

 

Pending Obligations, Lists your oldest three pending obligations, All Users

 

Total Contract Value, Displays the total value of all contracts in your organization, Admin Only

 

Gain/Loss of Terminated Contracts, Shows financial gain/loss from terminated contracts, Admin Only

 

Contracts Activity, Tracks contract activities: Draft Completed, Approved, Negotiated, etc., All Users

 

Note:

Admins see data across all contracts.

Non-admin users only see data for contracts they own.

 

  1. Filtering Widget Data

You can apply filters to each widget for deeper insights.

 

To Filter Widget Data:

Use filter options available at the top of each widget.

 

Choose the period using the dropdown menu at the top of the dashboard.

 

Example:

Contracts by Status: Filters by Contract Created Period

Contracts Activity: Filters by Activity Period

 

  1. Viewing Details in Widgets

Quick Views:

To Approve widget: See your three most recent approval requests.

 

Pending Obligations widget: Shows your three oldest pending obligations.

Click View All in each widget to expand and view complete data.

View Underlying Data:

Click on the data within widgets like Contracts by Status or Pending Contracts to see the associated contracts.

The system will auto-apply the relevant filters and views for a seamless transition.

Regularly check the right-side calendar for reminders and contract schedules.
