Organizing Flows Using Folders for Better Workflow Management

If you are working with dozens or hundreds of flows, the My Flows page can quickly get cluttered. Zoho Flow folders let you group flows so they are easier to find and manage.

How to create a folder

  1. Go to the My Flows page.
  2. Click the + Create button in the top right corner.
  3. From the dropdown, select Create Folder.
  4. Give your folder a name and click Create.

Folders created from the My Flows page are parent folders. You can create any number of subfolders inside a parent folder by opening it and using the same + Create > Create Folder option.

How to move items into folders

  1. From My Flows, or from inside a folder, hover over the flow or folder you want to move and tick the checkbox that appears.
  2. Select as many flows or folders as you need.
  3. Click Move.
  1. In the dialog box, choose a destination folder from the folder tree, or create a new folder from here.
  2. Click Move to complete.

Managing your folders

Rename a folder

Hover over the folder, click the edit (pencil) icon next to its name, enter the new name and save.

Delete folders and flows

  1. Go to My Flows or the relevant folder.
  2. Hover over the item, then tick the checkbox that appears.
  3. Click Delete in the top toolbar.
  4. Confirm the deletion by clicking Delete again.

Deleting a folder is permanent and cannot be undone, though a deleted flow itself can be restored within 90 days. You cannot delete a folder that contains a live flow, or a subfolder with a live flow: switch off any live flows first.

Tips

  • Use clear, descriptive names for folders so flows are easy to find later.
  • Group flows by project, team or workflow type.
  • Review and clean up old folders regularly to keep your workspace tidy.
