How to setup currencies in Zoho Inventory

Estimated reading: 2 minutes 254 views

Your base currency in Zoho Inventory is the currency you use to run your business, and it’s set when you create your organisation. If you deal with customers or suppliers in other currencies, you can add these as additional currencies.

Before you start

Choose your base currency carefully. You can only change it if your account has no transactions yet; once you start transacting, it becomes permanent.

How to add a currency

  1. Click the gear icon (Settings) in the top right and go to Organization Settings.
  2. Select Currencies under Setup & Configurations.
  3. Click + New Currency.
  4. Choose a currency code from the dropdown. The symbol, decimal places and format fill in automatically, and you can edit them if needed.
  5. Save your selection.

How exchange rates work

You can enable exchange rate feeds so rates for multi-currency transactions update automatically, or add rates manually by choosing a date and entering the rate. You can also import rates in bulk from a CSV or TSV file using the import option in the More menu.
