Project Reports – Overview

Estimated reading: 2 minutes 197 views

Zoho Projects reports give project managers and team leads a clear, data-backed view of progress, effort and workload, so decisions are based on facts rather than guesswork.

What reports cover

Reports fall into a few groups: task reports (status, priority, completion, created vs completed), issue reports (status, escalation, created vs closed), time log reports (billable and non-billable hours by project or client), and workload reports (allocation across your team). The Planned vs Actual report compares estimated and actual hours for tasks.

Where to find reports

  1. Open a project and go to Reports in the top navigation to see project-level reports.
  2. Click Reports in the left navigation panel for portal-wide reports covering all your projects.

Working with reports

Most reports let you choose a chart type, group and filter the data, and drill into a chart segment to see the underlying tasks or issues. Reports can typically be exported to PDF or Excel.
