Zwitch is Zoho Desk’s assisted migration tool for moving your data directly from another help desk platform, without manually exporting and re-importing CSV files yourself.

Supported platforms

Zwitch can migrate data from Freshdesk, Zendesk, Salesforce, Kayako, Intercom and Help Scout, and supports other services through CSV upload.

How to start a migration with Zwitch

  1. Go to Setup > Data Administration > Zwitch and click New Migration.
  2. Select your source platform and enter its access details, such as the service URL, email, password or API key.
  3. Upload your export files if required, up to 10 GB in total and 2 GB per file.
  4. Select which modules should receive the data, such as Agents, Accounts, Contacts, Tickets, Threads, Ticket Comments, Attachments or Knowledge Base Articles.
  5. Add any additional instructions for the migration team.
  6. Authenticate the target Zoho Desk portal, then confirm to start the migration.

Once submitted, the Zwitch team processes the migration request. Review your migrated records afterwards to confirm everything has come across as expected.
