A single-page website, or landing page, puts all your key information on one long, scrollable page instead of spreading it across a full menu of pages. Zoho Sites makes this style of site easy to build. This guide covers creating and customising a single-page site or landing page.

What a single-page site suits

  • Portfolios: showcasing work in one continuous flow.
  • Event pages: location, time, speakers and other details in one place.
  • Landing pages: a focused message aimed at driving one action.

How to build a single-page site

  1. When choosing a template, look for a template designed for single-page or landing page use, then customise it to match your brand and content.

Creating the home page

If you are starting from scratch with no pages yet:

  1. Open the site menu and select Pages, then click Add Page.
  2. Follow the prompts to create the page, then turn on Set as Home Page so it becomes the default landing page.

Converting an existing site into a single-page site

If you already have a multi-page site and want to reduce it to one page, go to Configuration > Menus.

  1. Delete the pages you no longer need, keeping only your home page. This removes navigation to those pages.
  2. Click Delete next to each extra page and confirm, then click Save.

With only the home page left, visitors scroll through all your content without any menu navigation.

Building out the page with sections and elements

A single-page layout usually starts with one section, which you can expand as needed.

  1. Select where you want to add content and click Add Section. Zoho Sites offers a range of section styles, from text blocks to image galleries.
  2. Use Copy to duplicate a section elsewhere on the page.
  1. To add an element, click Add in the page builder and select Element, then drag items such as text, images, buttons or forms into a section. You can also hover over a section and click Add Element to insert directly into it.
