How to Add a Page

Every page on a Zoho Sites website, from the home page to a contact page, is created and configured in the same place. This guide covers adding a page in Zoho Sites and setting its name, SEO details, layout and visibility.

How to access page management

  1. Open the site menu and select Pages from the dashboard to see a list of all pages on your site.
  2. Click Edit Page Info on the page you want to change.

General page settings

  1. Set the Page Name, the name shown for the page.
  2. Set the Page URL, using the suggested URL or your own.
  3. Turn on Set as Home Page if this page should be the site’s landing page.
  4. Click Save.

SEO settings for a page

The SEO tab lets you set a page title and description for search results, add comma separated keywords, and configure robots settings such as noindex, nofollow or noarchive. You can also include the page in the sitemap and set its change frequency and priority for indexing.

Layout settings

Layout options control three page elements:

  • Banner: a hero section at the top of the page, set site-wide or per page.
  • Menu: whether the page appears in site navigation, using the site default or a page-specific setting.
  • Sidebar: an optional sidebar for extra content or menus.

Adding header or footer code

  1. Click Header Code or Footer Code.
  2. Paste the code, such as Google Analytics or a translator widget.
  3. Click Save.

Hiding and unhiding a page

To hide a page from the menu without deleting it, go to Configuration > Menus and remove it from the menu. The page stays live and reachable by its URL.

To bring a hidden page back into navigation, go to Configuration > Menus, click Add Menu Item, give it a name, select the page and click Save.

Creating subpages

To organise pages under a parent page, go to Configuration > Menus and drag a page to the right, under its intended parent, then click Save. Zoho Sites supports up to three levels of subpages.

Reordering pages

To change the order pages appear in navigation, go to Configuration > Menus, drag and drop pages into the order you want, then click Save.

Frequently asked questions

Does hiding a page from the menu delete it?

No. Hiding a page only removes it from navigation. The page still exists and stays reachable by its URL.

How many levels of subpages can I create?

Zoho Sites supports up to three levels of subpages under a parent page.

Can I control how a page looks when it is shared on social media?

Yes. You can set a site-wide social preview image, or override it with a page-specific image.
