How to setup a Zoho Bookings Account

Setting up a Zoho Bookings account is the first step to taking online appointments. This guide covers signing up, confirming your email and completing the short setup wizard that gets your business ready to accept bookings.

How to set up a Zoho Bookings account

Go to the Zoho Bookings login page.
If you already have a Zoho account, sign in with it. If not, sign up using Google, Apple, Microsoft 365, LinkedIn or Facebook, or click Sign Up Now to create a Zoho account with your email address.

If you chose to sign in with another provider, select that service on the screen shown and follow its login prompts.

If you chose Sign Up, enter your details and click Sign Up Now.

Open the confirmation email sent to your address and click Confirm Account.

Completing the setup wizard

Once your account is confirmed, a short wizard sets up the basics of your Zoho Bookings account.

Step 1: Business details

Enter your business name, select your time zone and choose your currency, then click Next.

Step 2: Set your availability

Choose the days and hours you are available to accept appointments and click Next. You can change this at any time in your calendar settings.

Step 3: Create your first service

Add a name for your service, for example “Consultation” or “Haircut”, set its duration and click Create. This sets up a one on one service, suited to meetings or consultations booked individually.

What happens next

Once setup is complete, Zoho Bookings automatically creates a sample appointment so you can see how the booking process works. You can delete this later.

A default booking page is generated with your service details, availability and a Book Appointment button. Click it to preview how customers see your services.

Booking as a customer asks for a name, contact details and any other information you require, then completes with Schedule Appointment.

Do I need a new account to sign up for Zoho Bookings?

No. If you already have a Zoho account you can sign in directly, or you can sign up using Google, Apple, Microsoft 365, LinkedIn or Facebook.

What happens after I confirm my email address?

You are taken through a short setup wizard covering business details, your availability and your first service, after which a sample appointment is created so you can see how booking works.

Can I change my availability or service details later?

Yes, everything set up in the wizard, including working hours and services, can be changed at any time from your account settings.
