Zoho Sign recipient experience settings let administrators shape how signing feels for the people receiving your documents, from how they provide a signature to what happens once they finish.

Signature input options

Administrators can define how recipients provide their signature: typing their name, for which Zoho Sign generates stylised signature options, drawing it by hand (with the ink colour optionally restricted to red, blue or black), or uploading an image of their signature.

Image field input modes

If a document contains image fields, senders can let recipients upload an image file or capture one instantly using a camera.

Displaying time zones

Dates and timestamps on signed documents can show the organisation’s configured time zone, the recipient’s local time zone (falling back to the organisation’s zone if unavailable), or a specific custom time zone chosen from a dropdown.

Recipient actions

Senders can determine what actions recipients are allowed to perform while signing a document, for better control and compliance.

Enabling this highlights required fields for recipients, making the signing process quicker and reducing errors.

Automatic field navigation

Organisations can configure how recipients are automatically taken from one signing field to the next, reducing confusion and improving efficiency.

Signer attachments

Recipients may need to upload supporting documents, such as ID proof. The sender controls who is permitted to view these attachments.

Custom landing pages

Once recipients complete signing, they can be redirected to a designated webpage. Businesses can append parameters to the redirect URL for tracking or a more personalised experience.

How to access these settings

  1. Log in to Zoho Sign.
  2. Navigate to Settings > Account Settings.
  3. Select Recipient Experience from the left hand menu.
  4. Customise the relevant options under each section.
