How to Add and Manage Counterparties?

A counterparty is any legal entity you enter into a contract with, such as a customer, vendor or business partner. Zoho Contracts makes it straightforward to add, edit, manage and track counterparties in one place.

How to add a counterparty

  1. Go to the Counterparties tab in the top menu.
  2. Click Add Counterparty in the top right corner.
  3. Fill in the required details in the Add Counterparty form.
  4. Click Add to save the new counterparty.

How to edit a counterparty

  1. Open the Counterparties list.
  2. Click the counterparty you want to edit.
  3. In the top right of the details panel, click More > Edit.
  4. Update the details and click Update.

You can also edit a counterparty directly from the list page using More > Edit next to the entry.

How to delete a counterparty

Navigate to the Counterparties list and click More > Delete next to the counterparty you want to remove. Deletion can also be done from the counterparty details panel using More > Delete.

Viewing contracts linked to a counterparty

  1. Go to the Counterparties list.
  2. Select the counterparty you want to view.
  3. Open the Contracts tab in the details panel to see all related contracts.

Searching and filtering counterparties

Use the search bar at the top of the Counterparties page to find one by name, or click Filter to refine the list by specific criteria.
