Introduction

Zoho Desk enables users to export and back up helpdesk data effortlessly using the Export Data feature. This functionality allows you to export information from individual modules, such as Tickets, Contacts, Accounts, etc., in CSV format for further storage or analysis. 

Step-by-Step Instructions

Key Notes 

  • module refers to different tabs in Zoho Desk (e.g., Tickets, Contacts, Accounts). 
  • Only users with Export Data permission can perform exports. 
  • A maximum of 3000 records can be exported per CSV file. 
  • The export option is department-specific. It will not appear when “All Departments” is selected. Switch to a specific department to access the option. 
  • Exported files are safe and free from any harmful data. 
  • To export email threads within tickets, you must raise a request by emailing: support@zohodesk.com. 

Steps to Export Data

  1. Go to Setup > Data Administration > Export.
  2. On the Export Data page, choose the desired module from the Select Module drop-down.
  3. Under Select View, choose a specific view or select All [Module] to export all data from that module.
  4. Click Export.

The selected data will be exported and downloaded in CSV format to your local device.
