Zoho Sites Google Cloud Translation lets you offer your website in multiple languages by connecting Google’s translation service to your regional subsites. This guide covers setting up the integration.

Before you start

You need a Google Cloud account with a service account created under the Translation API, and a JSON key file generated for that service account. Follow Google’s own guide for creating the service account and key, since the steps are managed on Google’s side.

How to set up Google Cloud Translation

  1. In your Zoho Sites dashboard, go to Integrations > Google Cloud Translation > Open App.
  2. Upload your service account’s JSON key file using Upload JSON Key File.
  3. Once the key is validated, the integration is activated and you can auto-translate your regional subsites using the Google Cloud Translation service.

Managing the integration

To stop using the translation service, click Disconnect Translation Service in the integration settings.

Why use it

Offering content in more than one language can improve the experience for visitors who do not read your main site language, which matters for a site managing regional subsites or aiming at an international audience.
