Introduction

The Organization tab in Zoho People is your one-stop space to stay informed, connected, and engaged with your company. From accessing services to viewing announcements, policy documents, and organizational structures, the Organization tab helps employees understand their role in the bigger picture while staying updated on important events.

To access it:
Home > Organization tab

Features of the Organization Tab

  1. Access My Zoho People Services
  • Navigate to: Home > Organization > Overview > Services tab
  • Quickly access all Zoho People services available to you, along with your organization’s locations.
  • Use the Quick Links (if enabled by your organization) for even faster navigation.

2.View Organization Announcements

  • Navigate to: Home > Organization > Announcements tab
  • Stay up to date with company-wide updates and news.
  • Interact with announcements by adding a comment or giving a Like.

3.View Policy Documents

  • Navigate to: Home > Organization > Policies tab
  • Access essential documents such as:
    • Workplace guidelines
    • Anti-sexual harassment policies
    • Leave protocols
    • Compliance or government mandates
  • Ensures all employees can easily find and follow organizational policies.

4.View Employee Tree

  • Navigate to: Home > Organization > Employee Tree tab
  • See a visual hierarchy of your organization.
  • Understand reporting relationships and team compositions at a glance.
  • Stay connected with the broader company structure.

5.View Department Tree

  • Navigate to: Home > Organization > Department Tree tab
  • Explore the organizational layout of departments.
  • See parent departments, sub-departments, and their interconnections

6.View Department Directory

  • Navigate to: Home > Organization > Department Directory tab
  • Search and browse a full department list.
  • Select a department to view all employees in it.
  • Options include:
    • Call an employee directly
    • Mark as Favorite for quick future access

7.View Birthday Folks & New Hires

  • Navigate to: Home > Organization > Birthday Folks / New Hires tab
  • Celebrate employees’ special days and welcome new joiners.
  • Options include:
    • Sending a wish or welcome note
    • Making a quick call
    • Marking them as Favorite
  • A great way to build team spirit and engagement.

8.Calendar

  • Navigate to: Home > Organization > Calendar tab
  • View leave and absence details of your team or department (based on permissions).
  • Helps with better planning, availability checks, and workload coordination.
