Setting up business hours in Zoho Sales

Introduction

Specify your company’s working hours using Business Hours in Zoho SalesIQ. This helps visitors understand your availability and approach you accordingly for live support. Even if your operators are logged in, support can be turned off outside of business hours.

Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. From your SalesIQ Dashboard, go to:
    • Settings > Brands > [Your Brand Name]
    • Click on Business Hours in the top right corner.
  2. Toggle the switch to enable Business Hours, and select your time zone.
  3. Use the multi-colored sliders to set your working hours:
    • Click the center of a slider to move it.
    • Drag the left or right edge of the slider to adjust the time range.
    • Repeat this for each day of the week.
  1. To remove a time slot entirely:
    • Hover over the slider and click the trash can icon.
    • This means your team will be unavailable on that day.
  2. To add a new time interval:
    • Click and drag on an empty area to create a new slider.
    • You can add multiple sliders to define work shifts or breaks.
  3. Click Save at the top to apply your changes.

Optional:

  • Check the box “Hide Chat widget outside business hours” if you want the chat widget to disappear when your team is offline.

Note:

  • Business Hours work based on the time zone set in your company settings.
  • Enabling the “Hide Chat widget outside business hours” feature will:
    • Hide the chat widget when offline
    • Prevent access to resources like FAQs and Zobots.
