Customizing Zoho Social for Your Agency

  1. Custom Branding

Agencies can reinforce their identity by customizing Zoho Social:

  • Logo: Upload your agency’s logo (200×40 px, max 20KB; JPEG/JPG/PNG/GIF).
  • Favicon: Add a favicon (16×16 px or 32×32 px, max 20KB; PNG/GIF/ICO) for branded browser tabs.
  • Custom Domain: Replace the default domain (yourcompanyname.social-public.com) with a custom one (e.g., subdomain.yourwebsite.com).

Steps to set up a Custom Domain:

  1. Enter the desired domain in the Customization tab → click Submit.
  2. A Zoho Social security code (ZS Code) is generated.
  3. In your domain’s DNS manager, point the CNAME record and ZS Code to social.cs.zohohost.com.
  4. Click Verify Domain Mapping.
  5. Your domain will be ready in 5–6 business days.

Inviting and Collaborating with Clients

  1. Client Access

Clients get limited access to ensure they stay informed without viewing internal discussions.

Clients can access:

  • Home Screen
  • Posts
  • Collaborate Tab
  • Reports
  • Live Stream (real-time audience reactions)

Steps to Invite Clients:

  1. Go to Settings → Brand Members & Roles → Client Members Tab.
  2. Click Invite.
  3. Enter the client’s email (use “Add More” for multiple).
  4. Clients accept the invitation to gain access.
  5. Collaboration Features
  • Use the Collaborate Tab as a shared discussion space.
  • Clients can comment, suggest campaign ideas, or request data.
  • Posts from the Live Stream or Posts tab can be discussed directly with clients.
  • Internal-only threads remain hidden from clients unless you tag them.

Assigning Team Members

When handling multiple clients, assign your team members to specific brands.

Steps:

  1. Go to Settings → Brand Members & Roles → Portal Members.
  2. Select a team member → click +Add to assign them to brands.
  3. To remove access, hover over the brand and click X.

 Only Brand Admins and Portal Admins can assign/remove members.

Custom-Branded Reports

Use the Reports tab to track audience engagement, post performance, and activity insights.

Options available:

  • Create and save custom-branded reports.
  • Share reports directly within Zoho Social.
  • Export as PDF/PNG.
  • Schedule emails (choose recipients, frequency, and time).

Steps to create and share:

  1. From Reports → click Create Custom Report.
  2. Save it with a title.
  3. Choose the report under Your Reports.
  4. Share directly or use Email option with a custom message.
